All Ivory weather instruments & matching clocks are the same colour in real life regardless of any colour variations that may appear in the photographs. (Clock & watch parts are extremely difficult to photograph as the glass & brass are very reflective)

If you do not use the fixing ring supplied the minimun hole size for 90mm inserts is 76 mm

Clocks hate strong fumes - make sure that it can breathe.
Timber and thinner fumes can get into the plastic workings of fit up clock and clog them up...causing it to "go slow" or worse stop working.
