If you do not use the fixing ring supplied the minimun hole size for the 70mm is 57mm.

These take one AA battery- not included.
Clocks hate strong fumes - make sure that it can breathe. Timber and thinner fumes can get into the plastic workings of " fit up" clocks and clog them up...causing it to "go slow" or worse stop working.
