Hey its only 1 month to Christmas.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support during 2009, its been a bit of a big year for me.
I'm looking forward to couple of weeks off over Chirstmas . I will close the shop 12pm Wednesday 23rd December and will reopen the shop on the 11th of January.
If you have an urgent request please free free to email me over this time.
Whilest the shop will be closed to walk in customers mail orders will be processed and shipped during this time.

The new shop has opened. It is looking great but I still have lots of stock to display etc. I am a little behind getting orders out this week due to the move but all should be up to date by next week.

One more sleep , before I get the keys for the new shed.
The move starts over Easter and everything should be ready to go by the 22nd of April.
This is so exciting and inspite of about 10 days of lots of hard work and disruption to business ,I'm sure the end result will be worth it.
Looking forward to meeting many more of my customers face to face.
I'm only a minute off the hwy.

This week I have been taken delivery of lots of new stock. Every spare moment that I have I have been adding them to the computer but it is a long and slow process so keep watching my site.
Some of these are weather stations some even featuring original Barostar instruments- I haven't started unpacking yet. But due to the big hole in the market created by Barostar when they stopped supplying the DIY market some of these are worth considering.
I am really excited about a very unusual cookoo clock. Again these are a completed product. They are the real thing not a toy but they won toy of the year in Britian last year. These are a something many of you with children and or grandchildren may be interested in because they could be set into a nice piece of timber and provide a very sturdy clock with a real fun element. I just love them and think that they are just as suitable for adults who have a sense of fun and wnat something really different.

It's with great sadness that I have been watching the news of the terrible fires in Victoria and the great loss of lives and property. I have many lovely customers in Victoria and I want to convey to each and everyone of you that you are very dear to my hearts. Many of you I have known for many years and I "feel for you" because you are my friends first and customers second.
As a tribute to my wonderful Victorian customers I will be donating 33% of the proceeds of all* orders placed with Lets Make Time Clock Company on Friday to emergency relief agencies. I have heard that Coles are donating their profits from Friday's takings for Fire relief . I have decided to do my bit as well.
The majority of this money will be designated to the Fire Relief effort. I have many customers up in Nth QLd and will be designating some money for flood relief. As many of you know I have jillarooed on my family's farm in the Burdekin and really feel for those affected by the floods. I know that many farmers will have a very expensive time repairing fences etc destroyed for the second year running from floods!!!
( *exception 5% on mechanical clocks, and 5% on wholesale orders, excludes postage costs).

If you are able to read this it means that after lots of blood, sweat and tears the Website is finally up and running. Not quite completed! There are still lots of products to add to the site as well things to update, etc.
Many of the product categories and the product codes have been changed. Some of these codes were named almost 20 yrs ago. So it is time to make the clock codes more descriptive about the product that they belong to. The 'fit-up' clocks will eventually all have an 'F' for fit-up. A number for the dial size, e.g. '100' and colour and style codes, e.g. 'F100WA' would be a 100mm fit-up/insert clock with a White Arabic dial.
As most of you have realised, Lets Make Time Clock Company is no longer a part of GPW. I greatly appreciate all the work that Huon has put into that website and have used much of his material on the new site. GPW is still available for all of the pen parts and machinery . I realise that it is a bit inconvenient to order from two places. With that in mind my prices are really competitive and my specials are good so that it's worth ordering from Lets Make Time Clock Company.
